That was exactly the case for the official opening last week of the Spring Garden Fair and Art and Craft exhibition at Zig Zag School.
A fundraiser for the school, it is the first in several years and features children’s and adult’s art works as well as displays involving wide ranging craft work from well known and not so well known local artists.
While the youngsters were absent on the opening night there were plenty there as the fair continued on Saturday and Sunday.
Don't miss the online gallery from Monday lunchtime.
