A morning tea was held at their local offices on Friday morning last week to celebrate Mrs Willis' outstanding contribution and was attended by her friends and colleagues.
Mrs Willis started her career at Coal Services when it was known as the Joint Coal Board in 1971 and has seen a great deal of change throughout her time as a Customer Support Officer.
Regional Manager Belinda Mitchell has worked with Mrs Willis for 17 years and spoke highly of her valuable contribution to the business.
“Denise has provided a wonderful service to our customers over the years and been such a commendable example for other staff members to follow.
“It's rare to have someone with so much experience and talent at what they do on your team and she will be missed by everyone here at CS Health.” Ms Mitchell said.
Mrs Willis spoke warmly on her time with the company at the morning tea, thanking her fellow staff members and reflecting on her many successful years in the job.
“I'd like to thank everyone on the team, present and past, for making my job so enjoyable.” Mrs Willis said.
While sad to leave the job, Mrs Willis is looking forward to stepping back and enjoying her retirement with plans to take a trip later in the year.
