THERE have been a multitude of changes at the Lithgow Post Office over the past 18 years and popular employee Dianne Fitzgerald has been at the front to witness them.

But all good things must come to and end and Dianne is calling it a day and heading north to Tuncurry with her husband Graeme to enjoy a life of leisure.
"I will certainly miss the interaction with the customers.
"It is something that I have loved right from when I started all those years ago,” she said..
"John Kearns was the postmaster when I first started with the post office being around in Railway Parade.
"I have been lucky to have so many workmates over the years and they will hold a special place in my heart.
"Moving away from Lithgow will be hard, but I will not miss the winters.
"Graeme and I have a lot of family in Lithgow and do doubt we will be making regular visits back to the area."
