Topping Tutton's great achievements at the wheel of his trusty 1972 LC Holden Torana was a class victory and an amazing tenth place outright in the Victorian Hillclimb Championship in the improved production class 2001cc and over class contested over nine rounds.
Missing just two of the nine, Tutton posted four class wins overall at Mt Leura, Rob Roy on two occasions and at Shepparton.
Tutton and his diminutive 3.4 litre six cylinder powered Torana was topped only by Steve Grinstead at Ararat and Mt Leura in his booming big V8 A9X Torana to which Tutton claimed second place and then at Bryant Park where a turbo charged Datsun and a V8 Holden Monaro relegated him to a third placing.
A runner up silver medal at the Australian Masters Games held at Camperdown also in Victoria over the October long weekend gave 67 year old Tutton another huge boost.
