The Lithgow Flash Gift Carnival to be held this Saturday at the Lithgow Luchetti Sportsground has been supported well by their valued sponsors since the inaugural event back in 2008.
“The Lithgow Flash Gift was to be held back in March of this year, but with record entries, interstate runners and the track at the Lithgow Showground in superb condition, the weather turned nasty,” Flash president and deputy mayor Ray Thompson said.
“Following the cancellation, we had to wait for the Athletics Association to tell us their itinerary and what dates were available.
“Everything is back in order and again we have a excellent field of competitors and hopefully this time Mother Nature will be good to us.”
