Starting their trip on two 20-year-old modified Honda motorcycles they began their journey over one and a half years ago and have travelled across Europe, through Russia and Mongolia into Asia and have now had their motorcycles shipped to Australia where they plan to spend many more months of adventure before they head off to New Zealand and South America.
Hi tech video equipment mounted on their helmets and bikes allows them to document their journey so that others throughout the world can also enjoy their adventures.
Inclement weather did not daunt them as they made their way to the Glow Worm Tunnels which they described as being one of the most amazing places in their journey so far.
Halle, who does all the repairs on the bikes, was delighted when local motorbike enthusiast Dave Wilson, from Lithgow Bike Stop, was able to help out with a difficult spare parts problem regarding an air cleaner and soon they were on their way again to their next stop at Kangaroo Valley.
“Dave was really helpful and turned a somewhat difficult issue into a relatively easy task.
“I wish it was that easy in other bike shops I have done business with,” Halle said.
