Lithgow Aged Care CEO Craig Oeding participated in the latest Toastmasters meeting at which members practised their speaking skills in front of a group.
“The local club is very friendly and gives plenty of opportunities to test your public speaking skills,” Mr Oeding said.
“Having been a former Toastmasters member myself, I know the great benefits of practising speaking in front of a group to keep your mind and skills sharp.”

A former member of the Great Lakes Speakers Club Inc Forster, Mr Oeding recently moved from the NSW mid north coast for the CEO role of Lithgow Aged Care Limited.
“We visited Lithgow earlier this year and spent some time with my wife's friend and really loved the place,” said Mr Oeding.
“When the role was advertised mid year, my wife and I were very keen for the treechange to beautiful Lithgow.”
Lithgow Gateway Toastmasters Club meets every first and third Wednesday evening of the month from 7pm at Club Lithgow.
The next meeting is the end of year celebration at the Commercial Hotel on November 21 from 6.30pm, with a special Secret Santa speaking competition.
