The large group of students achieved Band 5 and 6 results in their Higher School Certificate (HSC), and shared with their ex-schoolmates where they would heading and their future aspirations.
Sam Gray received two Band 6 results and three Band 5 results with an ATAR of 92.05.
Sam has accepted his position at UNSW to do a double degree in Advanced Science and Engineering.
Sam spoke about how he achieved his top scores by having a good healthy life balance of sport and schoolwork and studying hard and having the determination to achieve his goals even when times are hard and stressful.
He thanked his teachers for pushing him that extra mile, making him totally prepared for the HSC exams.
Congratulations to all of the Year 12 students on their fine achievements in the 2017 HSC.
The school was excited to learn, as well as the students with ATARS above 90, a large number of students achieved scores of 80 and above and are proud to say of a cohort of 95 mainstream students, more than 40 university offers were made.
Students will begin their study in a variety of degrees including Medical Science, Engineering, Business, Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Teaching, Policing, Occupational Therapy, Computing Science, Civil Engineering, Criminal Justice, , Nursing, Psychology, Music, Arts and Care of Captive animals at Taronga.
