Get ready for all things weird and wonderful at Lithgow Halloween, which will take over Main Street this Saturday from 2-10pm.

Everyone is encouraged to come in costume to put their personal touch on the festival with prizes for the best dressed.
The overall best dressed will win two nights family accommodation in Old Trahlee at Hartley Historic Village courtesy of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
Additional prizes for the competition have been supplied by Reliance Bank, Bunnings, Coles and Woolworths.
To enter the best dressed competition all you have to do is have an amazing costume and be in Main Street between 4-6pm on Saturday and have your outfit appraised by the special guest judges from Gallery Serpentine.
If you receive a finalist ticket then you have aced your costume and will be called to the Main Stage for final judging.
The competition will be divided by gender and age group.
Several rides for children of all ages have been announced including the Pirate Ship and Mini Ferris Wheel for the younger ones.
A Circus Train obstacle course and Nemo Castle inflatables will offer another fun option for children.
Tickets for the children’s rides and inflatables are $3 each or $10 for five tickets. Attendees can get in early and purchase tickets before the event at the Lithgow Visitor Information Centre.
For thrill seekers over 120cm tall the Round-Up will offer a spinning view of the heights of Lithgow’s Main Street for $5 a ride.
Representatives from mental health advocates Walk ‘n’ Talk will be present at Lithgow Halloween to answer questions and distribute information to the community.
Walk ‘n’ Talk has taken root in Lithgow over the past several months and continues to help bring people together in an effort to prevent suicide.
