SafeWork NSW has confirmed it is investigating after a 65-year-old male worker suffered fatal injuries in an incident at a mechanical workshop on Reserve Road, Marrangaroo on Monday, October 16.

In a statement released on Tuesday afternoon, October 17, SafeWork said that Initial inquiries indicated the man was undertaking repairs on a truck when its tray dropped and struck him, causing fatal crush injures.
The investigation remains ongoing.
6pm Monday
A 65 year old man has been killed on a private property on Reserve Road in Marrangaroo.
The incident appears to be a tragic workplace accident.
Initial reports suggest he was injured by a tipper truck, when paramedics arrived he was not conscious or breathing.
4.30pm Monday
Police were called to a property at Marrangaroo on Monday afternoon, after an incident that occurred soon after 3pm.
It was believed to involve one truck.
An ambulance and multiple police cars were on the scene during the afternoon of October 16.
