After winning the A grade handicap at the Oberon Open the previous week, Max Nightingale combined with Paul Bailey to take out the two ball aggregate at Lithgow with a combined score of 79.
Nightingale produced some of his best golf to also win the single event with the very good score of 43 points.
Runners up were Dean Stafford and Greg Jackson with a score of 77 on a count back.
Best scratch scores in each grade were: A grade Andrew Burton 71; B, Nathan Thompson 79 and C, David Lansbury 88.
Nightingale took out two of the nearest to the pins while the others went to Rod Bright, Jeremy Chandler and Dean Stafford.
Balls in the ball competition cut out on 73 ocb.
Brett Scanlon grabbed the victory in Friday’s competition with 28 points. He was followed closely behind by Johnathan Van-Veen on 27.
The ball winners were Max Nightingale, Michael Bennett, Jeff Geddes and Brian Judge.
Jeff Geddes was also nearest the pin.
On Sunday the 18 hole winner was Greg Guest on 38 and the 9 hole winner was Steve Ramsden.
