The game was played at Glen Willow Stadium, Mudgee.
The ladies really turned up to play and put in a very strong first half performance, playing some of their best football of the year and going into the half time break of the semi-final with the lead.
Unfortunately, running into a gale force wind in the second half made holding the Blayney side out too difficult a task on the day, with the Bears coming away with the win.
The Wolves squad can be very pleased with what they had managed to achieved during the year.
Having finished the 2016 season in last place, the improvements in their fitness, skill level and match play have seen them climb the competition ladder during the season and qualify to compete in the 2017 Group 10 finals series, which is something coach John Legge and the whole squad can be very proud of.
Legge thanked manager Tanya Boza for all her efforts behind the scenes during the season, and trainers Anthony Brown and Connor Legge for their hard work on and off the field.
He gave special thanks to Mitch Case, Cameron Denley and Keelan Brezac for their help during the year.
The club would like to thank sponsors Lithgow Workies Club and The Outback Cafe.
The team and coaching staff are looking forward to 2018 season with the squad having a good mixture of experienced and younger players. The club has high hopes of what will be able to be achieved based on their efforts this year.
