Oberon and Yetholme are likely to see a dusting during the cold day, which is expected to reach just 9 degrees in Lithgow.
There is a chance of rain, thunderstorms and even hail during the morning.
The forecast comes after a very windy weekend with a high chill factor for Lithgow.
The bureau says a cold front is approaching the Central Tablelands from the southwest.
“This front will affect western parts of the state during Sunday, extending through to the east early Monday accompanied by vigorous winds in most areas,” the bureau states.
Motorists are urged to take care on the roads.
