The club’s monthly meeting doubled as a Biggest Afternoon Tea fundraiser for the Cancer Council. Overall, the Garden Club contributed $525 to the cause.
The guest speaker was Angie Thomas from Yates Garden Products.
This month the club’s ramble was to Megalong Valley for morning tea, then on to Fords Crossing picnic grounds by the river.
“The weather was kind to us and it was hard to move from the pleasant surroundings,” club member Robyn da Costa said.
“A ramble is not complete without visiting a plant nursery so a stop at Mt. Boyce nursery saw lots of purchases,” she said.
“A perfect ending to a perfect day.”
