Lithgow couples Mick and Tracy Staines and Carol and John Stevens organised the event to help rebuild five homes after a fire ripped through Escopa, one of the slum areas in Manila.
A total of $4200 was raised on the day with around 90 people in attendance.
“It was a really fun day,” said Tracy Staines.
She said the event required plenty of time and effort but the money raised definitely made it all worth it.
Mrs Staines thanked all the local artists who supplied their work to be auctioned off and the host of local business who donated goods and money.
Fundraisers also had the opportunity of running a canteen at the Blue Mountains Taekwondo Championships which brought in around $1000.
They had a goal of $10,000 to cover the cost to build five simple timber homes and have so far raised about $9000.
