Kerry Higlett and Margie Lowe began the day well for Spinners, winning 6-3 against Sandy Cox and Carolyn Andison.
Andison played a very strong game despite being injured and rallied with Captain Debbie Williams, to then win 5-4 against Kristy Ayott and Margie Lowe of Spinners.
Williams demonstrated a very centred game, which in combination with Sandy Cox's 'never say die' attitude, proved to be a great combination against Aylott and Higlett to bring home a solid 7-2 win for Bandits. She won her next set 5-4 for Bandits with Carolyn Andison over Higlett and Lowe.
Spinners fought back in the next set when Aylott and Lowe seemed to have the answers to Williams and Andison's strategies, winning 9-0.
The final set sealed the win for Spinners, when Kristy Aylott and Kerry Higlett only lost their first game against Williams and Cox, winning 8-1. Match result was a 3 set, 33 games win to Spinners over Bandits' 3 sets, 21 games. Kristy Aylott won 23 games for Spinners and Debbie Williams played a consistently good game for Bandits. Thanks to Margie Lowe for filling in for Spinners.
