They stole priceless family photo albums after smashing a side window to gain entry to Mr Dobson’s home.
"I just want the photos back,” Mr Dobson said.
“They've taken probably a couple thousand dollars worth of power tools but I'm not worried about that.
"None of it was insured but I don't give a stuff."
The stolen albums included pictures of Mr Dobson’s son who passed away at only a day old.
The robbers also got away with brand new tree climbing equipment.
Brian Dobson recently moved to Rydal from Sydney for a quieter life in the country.
However his time in his new home has been anything but peaceful.
"It wasn't real good going out there and this has happened in the first bloody two weeks,” Mr Dobson said.
“I used to hunt out at Mt Lambie for about twenty odd years there. I know the area is a nice area, that's why I wanted to move out here.
"Unfortunately thieves seem to be taking a liking to the place."
Only a few months ago, solar panels and inverters were stolen from the same address.
The solar panels were retrieved but the inverters could not be found.
Mr Dobson has been in the process of moving his possessions for the past three weeks.
"When we came back up here last Saturday, the window is smashed, the back door is open and half of my stuff is gone that I had put in there," he said.
"I didn't think anyone would ever steal photos.
"If someone can return them, no questions asked... I don't want anything just the photo album back.
"It's just the precious memories you know."
