This year marks the 41st year of the Portland Art Exhibition, which will feature Central West landscape artist Nicole Foxall.
Known for her bold and colourful style, Nicole’s work will be included among a display of 435 works over the three days.
The Portland Art Prize, with a first prize of $650, has challenged participating artists to represent ‘Bottles’ in their works. The results have been creative, Portland Art Society publicity officer Rich Evans said.
“If you jump on the Portland Art Society Facebook page you can see a sneak peek at some of the entries,” he said.
The art exhibition opens on Friday, March 3, from 6.30pm with an official opening at 7.30pm and will continue during the day on Saturday and Sunday.
