The vehicle appears to have lost control on a sweeping right-hand bend before colliding with some signs and a fence.
The white Mitsubishi Lancer then flipped and eventually came to a rest on its roof.
Police checked the car’s registration after receiving a number of calls about the vehicle rollover on Saturday.
They found the vehicle had failed to stop at a motor vehicle accident and also activated a red light camera in Sydney on Friday.
Police contacted the owner in Crookwell and she had no idea the vehicle had been taken.
Some blood was found in the car and is being forensically tested. The vehicle is also being finger printed.
