“I am committed to seeing greyhound racing continue in NSW and bring a bill back to parliament as quickly as possible to recall the bill past through last year.
“I’ve been speaking to many breeders and owners in the industry over the past weeks.
“For many of them racing is more than a passion, its more than a hobby, or income, their dogs are part of their families.”
Mr Toole said the report details new structures and centres around animal integrity, which will meet expectations both within and outside of the greyhound community.
“We want to bring a new bill to repeal the ban to provide confidence in the industry that racing will continue,” Mr Toole said.
