The club had a standout year this season, with the men’s premier league team in particular nearly going all the way to the end before a heartbreak defeat against Bathurst Souths in their preliminary final.
Addressing his teammates at the presentation, skipper and new Zig Zag life member Ben Kelly said there was hope for next season yet.
Men’s coach Mark Sheppeard thanked all the boys for their time out on the field, and hoped they would line up again next year.
Women’s coach Heath Luck also took the time to thank his team for giving it all this season.
Though work and life commitments sometimes got in the way of the game, Luck said he could always count on the team to give it their all.
The Zig Zag Premier League girls had their last game against Bathurst City back in August, where they went down 2-1, but not without a fight.
