The introduction of the “Buddy Class” was highly successful with senior and junior classes teaming up for activities, promoting across school connections.
During Term Two, the entire school community has seen a smoking ceremony held and the renaming of the yarning room during Reconciliation Week Activities, success in the UNSW Academic Competitions, growth and development of the school band, outstanding parental support for weekly Kindergarten activities and incredible achievements made by sporting teams and individual athletes.
Cooerwull has also had a large amount of new enrolments this term and extends a warm welcome to those newer families.
Each term the school has a combined recess which enables staff and students across both sites to come together.
The junior playground was awash with colour and movement from students and teachers alike.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable way to end a fabulous Term Two.
