THE popular Workies Night bowls have come to end for the winter break with two teams being declared joint premiers.
In a great competition Fishos and Taxis both went through the competition undefeated.
In their only match up during the season the sides came away with a draw.
With the teams equal minor premiers the scene was set for a great final series.
However the Lithgow weather was to play its part and with two weeks washed out the committee decided the two teams would be declared joint premiers.
Playing for the inaugural Higgins Lawyers Cup the teams will share the trophy until next season.
Klaus Fegebank from Higgins Lawyers was on hand to congratulate both teams on their success and presented the shield to the winning sides.
Klaus also made the presentation of Bowler of the Year to Brianna Rigby.
Brianna has bowled brilliantly throughout the competition and showed great potential to become one of Lithgow’s best bowlers.
A big thanks goes to Higgins Solicitors for their support of the competition.
It is greatly appreciated.
