The side will be coached by Lithgow’s Anthony Boza and from Lithgow, Chrissy West, Tahlia Nugent, Mallory Goodman and Maddy Bender have been named in a very strong side.
The Lithgow Wolves’ girls have got off to a mixed start scoring a good win over Cowra in their first up match, but then went down narrowly to Mudgee at Mudgee.
All four girls are top line players with West having already tasted representative honours, being named the Group 10 Player of the Year and runner-up in past years.
Along with her all round skills, West is also an accomplished goal kicker.
Young Maddy Bender, who has been in the Wolves side for the past two years, has developed as a real strike player.
Formerly a Premier League hockey player, Bender put up her stick to play Oz League and has been one of the real improvers.
Formerly a state sprint champion, Nugent is a great addition to any side with her blinding speed and elusive qualities.
Goodman is a natural footballer and possesses all the qualities.
She has the ability to set up attacking raids with her speed and skills.
The full Group 10 side is: Coach Anthony Boza; 1 Sophie Stammers (Blayney), 2 Jelly Dowdy (Mudgee), 3 Tahlia Nugent (Lithgow), 4 Holly Gibson (CYMS), 5 Mallory Goodman (Lithgow), 6 Tori Moore (CYMS), 7 Jess Hotham (Panthers), 8 Matilda Power (Panthers), 9 Emily Rhyhart Olivia Patterson (St Pats), 10 Sheryll Selwood (Hawks), 11 Bridget Rhyhart (St Pats), 12 Chrissie West (Lithgow), 13 Zoe Mawkes (Oberon), 14 Karah Armstrong (St Pats), 15 Maddy Bender (Lithgow).
