Raptors received a free win, while Lizards bounced back to score a win over Cougars.
Things did not look good for Lizards early in the match when they found themselves down 5-NIL, but their experience shone through with the men in green fighting back to score a 10-6 win.
Lizards were best served by Pete Nunan, Juzen Takahira, Aaron Bailey and Josh Amos.
It was a good effort by Cougars who are languishing at the bottom of the competition ladder and their best were Jack Rainsford, Josh Denley, Pete Munday and Brian Griffiths.
The win has Lizards favourites to take out the minor premiership, sitting on top of the ladder on 22.
Following are Isotopes on 12, Raptors 11 and Cougars 1.
Players are reminded to let their respective coaches know if they are going to be late.
Draw: This weekend sees Raptors taking on Lizards at 11am followed by Cougars and Raptors at 1pm.
