KAPROSOLS have qualified for the semi finals of the Lithgow Table Tennis Association competition after a comfortable play off victory over Campeones at the Old Trades Hall.

Kaprosols, who opened the season with four straight losses, were early favourites for the wooden spoon but gradually worked their way through the field to finish equal fourth.
Campeones, on the other hand, spent the entire season inside the top four and looked certain semi finalists past the half way mark.
Five consecutive losses forced them into the play off and now a sixth has seen them eliminated.
The writing was on the wall for Campeones after Kaprosols shocked them with a 6-0 start.
Campeones recovered their composure for a time to get back to 8-5 down and looked to be turning things around.
Kaprosols would have none of it however, as they held firm the rest of the way to record a 12-7 triumph.
Matt Kappos led the way for Kaprosols at 6-1, with able assistance coming from his mother Linda (4-2) and Craig Olson (2-4).
In finishing a season that promised so much but fell apart at the end, all of the Campeone players had similar results.
Maurie Poole went 3-4, while Megan Kappos and Brody Forbes both turned in 2-4 marks.
Kaprosols now move on to play third-placed Charolais in the minor semi final.
