Jason Fraser from the Wallerawang Fire Station brought along his fire truck and spoke to the students about the importance of having a family fire evacuation plan.
The children were able to climb into the fire truck and see all of the firefighting equipment. Guy Blanchard, an officer from the Lithgow Ambulance Service spoke to the children about the different and interesting parts of his job.
Students got to walk inside the ambulance and there were even a few patients that tested out the stretcher.
Constable Mathew Holden is a Youth Liaison Officer and he talked to the children about his role within the police force.
He also explained all the other roles that the police force covers such as the water police and highway patrol.
The children had a wonderful day and went to a lot of trouble dressing up as what they would like to be when they grow up.
There were doctors, nurses, vets, coal miners, policemen, rural fire fighters, pop stars and teachers!
