To ensure that the community is fully informed, the Council will be conducting public briefing sessions in Rydal, Hartley and Capertee over the next two weeks.
“The Council would like to invite all members of the community to come along to any of the briefing sessions”, said Mayor Maree Statham.
“The sessions provide an excellent opportunity for members of the public to be informed of what is in the Draft Operational Plan as well as to ask questions of councillors and staff.”
“Copies of the Draft Operational Plan and Draft Fees and Charges can be read at the
Lithgow, Wallerawang and Portland libraries; the Council’s Administration Centre and are available for downloading on the Council’s web site www.lithgow.nsw.gov.au”, continued Mayor Statham.
“Council would like to receive written submissions concerning those items that members of the community wish to see supported by the council as well as those that they do not wish supported”, concluded Mayor Statham.
Briefing sessions will be held at:
* RYDAL: Wednesday April 30, 6.30pm Rydal Mount Conference Centre
* HARTLEY: Thursday May 1, 6.30pm Old Hartley Schoolhouse
* CAPERTEE: Wednesday May 7, 6.30pm Capertee Memorial Hall.

* LITHGOW Library – Thursday May 15, 2-6pm.
