Results were; Cruizers 2 defeated Zig Zag White 1
Kerri Sulllivan, Laura Miller
Cruizers played well in both halves with good strong defence kept Zig Zag to only one goal. Kylie Pearce put in an outstanding effort for her first game back after a couple of years off.
She had good support from Rebecca Christie and Laura Miller and Kerri Sullivan with the latter two scoring the goals.
Zig Zag White's scorer was Kim Dean who had a strong game and was unlucky not to score the equaliser while their goalie also had a big game.
Zig Zag Blue 8 defeated Hot shots 0
It was one way traffic for Zig Zag with the scorers being Dee Sutton, Morgan Stapleton,
Nicole McFadden, Kym Wilson, Kristy Morrison and Jana Winnard.
Zig Zag Blue played a very constructed team with their teamwork and skills proving too much for Hotshots.
Hot Shots tried hard but were outgunned with goalie Jamie Robson under siege throughout, but made a number of excellent saves to keep the score down.
Zig Zag Black 2 tied with Workmens Club Blue 2
Scorers for Zig Zag Black were Kim Northey and Ngarie Unsworth.
Debbie Smith played a strong attack for Zig Zag setting up goals for Kim Northey and Ngarie Unsworth. Kim showed that she is just as good on the field as she is in her usual goalie position.
Scorers for Workmens Club Blue were Tammy Barber and Robyn Miller.
There was plenty of experience in the Workies goal scorers with Tammy Barber and Robyn Millar both finding the back of the net.
This was a great game with a draw a fitting result.
