The course was looking brilliant following the recent rains although many still battled with the slow greens following the recent coring.
Goldspink (9) is one of the big improvers and green staff worker, Wren (29) who is fairly new to competition golf, had a combined handicap of 9.5 and finished with the excellent score of 61.5 nett.
The inform Troy Luka (3) and John "Digger" Murnane (16) had a combined handicap of 4.75 and finished runners up on 63.25 nett.
The best scratch score went to Steve Hall (scr) and Paul Bosman (8) on 66 off the stick. Vouchers went to those with teams who scored 66 nett and better and they were Jeff Geddes and Rod Bright, Michael Casey and John Bird, Damien Marjoram and Tallan Egan and Les Goldspink and Kevin Casey.
A single stableford was held in conjunction and Bob Ritchie (13) continued his good run of form with a winning score of 40 points. Runner up was Dave Muir (21) on 39 points and in third spot was Anthony Boza (3) on 38 points.
Vouchers went down to those with 35 points and better and they were Dean Stafford, Phillip Duncan, Darren Hunter and Corey Oldfield.

Wednesday nine hole competition (Nov 17): Winner was Dave Muir on 23 points. Runner up on 22 points was James Morgan and in third spot was Mark Bennett with 20 points ocb.
Vouchers went down to those with 17 points ocb and they were Anthony Potts, Brian Maloney, Ricky Cohen, Heath Egan, Jeff Brailey, Brian Quick, Anthony Oldfield, John Bird, Graham Dean and Warren Kennedy. Nearest to the pins were Paul Bailey and Dave Muir.
Friday nine hole competition (Nov 19): The winner was Brad Gordon on 21 points. Runner up was Steve Cutler on 20 points and third place went to Michael Casey on 19. Michael Bright won a voucher and the nearest the pin winners were Ross King and Chris Keller.
Saturday's (Nov 27) event is the popular monthly medals sponsored by Henry's Plant and Equipment Hire.
