The handicap title was even closer with a countback needed to determine the champions.
Finally the title went to Geoff Thompson and Ross Harrington with a score of 106.5 nett. The unlucky runners up also on 106.6 were the father and son team of Dave and Nathan Marshall.
A big thank you goes out to the girls that looked after the barbecue which was appreciated by the large field.
Saturday's event on October 16 was a two person aggregate and unbelievably there were over 70 golfers who turned out in near zero temperatures, strong winds and contending with soggy fairways.
The team of Brad Gordon and Shane Monaghan handled the tough conditions to play exceptional golf and amass a score of 80 points with Gordon the major contributor with a personal score of 41 points.
