Once again the medals were sponsored by Henry Plant and Equipment Hire and for those that broke their handicaps they can be happy that they played some excellent golf.
The best score came out of A grade with Kobe Hunter (9) carding a 68 nett carrying on the Hunter name that has been synonymous with top line golf in Lithgow for many decades with his grand father Greg and father Darren among Lithgow's very best.
Kobe Hunter also took out the A grade medal. Runner up was Brock Egan (+1) on 70 nett on a countback and making it a good day for the Hunters it was Darren (3) that took out the best scratch score with 33 points.
B grade winner and medal winner was Dave Warren (10) who has enjoyed some success in recent weeks with Warren played some excellent golf to card a 69 nett.
Runner up was Trevor Cameron (17) with 70 nett and the best scratch score went to Ross Harrington (10) with 27 points. It was a happy Harrington who is a former South Sydney first grader and life member with his Bunny side making it through to the NRL grand final the night before.
It was a first for Carol Osborne (31) when she took out the C grade handicap section playing some excellent golf in the tough conditions finishing with a 70 nett. Unfortunately for Carol she isn't eligible to win the medal and it went to runner up Peter Milton (28) on 71 ocb.
Once again it was Leo Murnane (20) who has a monopoly on the C grade scratch score finishing with 15 points.
