Scots All Saints College is a community like no other, with a unique day and boarding school located in the heart of Bathurst, NSW.

Its wide open spaces and unlimited opportunities pave the way for a fulfilling education and co-curricular success for every student, said the school's Head of College John Weeks.

"We particularly take great pride in providing a quality boarding environment to regional and farming families," he said.

"Strong relationships, supportive teachers and an inclusive culture combine to create a caring and nurturing environment where students have the space to explore, learn and grow."

Here are just five reasons families choose Scots All Saints College for their children.

Co-educational learning and living

Scots All Saints College offers the only co-educational boarding facilities in Bathurst. This experience supports boys and girls to develop important social and emotional skills in a home-like setting where they can develop healthy and respectful relationships with one another.

It also allows siblings to stay together - a significant advantage for families in terms of support among siblings, and the convenience of all children in the one location.

The College's boarding community ensures students experience 'a home away from home' feeling throughout their education journey.

Unrivalled facilities

Scots All Saints boarders enjoy a dedicated space to live and learn on campus in a secure and comfortable setting.

With over 150 acres of land, including a working farm for cattle and sheep and an equestrian centre, the Senior Campus is one of the largest in Australia. So much more than a place to live, this is a space to explore, to be, to belong and to grow.

Boarders' accommodation overlooks equestrian facilities and paddocks where students who own a horse can agist and care for them on campus.

Year 10 student Madi brought her horse with her from home in West Wyalong.

"Scots All Saints lets me agist my horse at school, so I have a sense of connection to home when I'm with her," she said.

"Having the opportunity to ride around with friends who share the same passion is a true privilege, and the relationships are such a treasure."

The College encourages students with horses to learn more through its equestrian and agricultural programs, including the award-winning Cattle Team which attends local, regional and Sydney Shows.

The modern, well-equipped facilities inspire learning across extensive academic and unique co-curricular areas.

Boarders can access a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, performing arts centre, sports stadium and gym, various ovals and playing fields, tennis courts, cricket nets, a newly refurbished library, newly-equipped Agriculture Centre, picnic and garden areas and a Wellness Space.

Tailored boarding options

Scots All Saints College welcomes students from various backgrounds including city, country and overseas. In this way the College fosters a broad vision in the students - a diverse perspective of their place and purpose in life.

The College also offers a range of options to suit families' individual requirements, including Casual, Weekly and Full-Time boarding.

Year 10 boarder Harriett said her move from Bourke was daunting but worthwhile. "Coming to a regional city puts you out of your comfort zone but allows you to grow and develop as a person with support around you and provides so many more opportunities to learn and be involved," she said.

Caring and experienced team

Working closely with parents, the College's committed on-site team encourages students to pursue personal excellence by taking full advantage of the opportunities on campus.

A full-time Head of House is supported by Residential Assistants who guide and support all students living under their care. Students are assisted with homework as well as life skills including meal preparation, excursions and outings outside of school hours.

Student wellbeing and pastoral care

Scots All Saints is committed to providing a high level of pastoral care and wellbeing support for the boarders as they navigate through adolescence.

The College has three qualified psychologists who work together with Boarding and Academic staff to create the Wellbeing team.

"We believe this support is vital in caring for the wellbeing of our boarding students and is grounded in the belief that people want to lead meaningful lives," said Mr Weeks.

"At Scots All Saints, we encourage every student to feel a sense of belonging and to become strong and connected young adults in an ever-changing world."
