A 'pop-up' post-jab clinic at Dr Haran's practice was popular on Friday with over 140 doses administrated.
The pop-up is an initiative run by community members who created a system, requiring no wait times or lengthy queues and will continue to run in weeks to come.
Those involved include members from Wallerawang/Lidsdale Progress Association, Wallerawang Community and Sports Club, Wallerawang Memorial Men's Shed, Wallerawang/Lidsdale CWA, The Friends of St Johns, Portland Men's Shed, Portland Touch Football Association, Portland and District Swimming Pool and Portland Business Association.
Dr Haran said it was nice to see the community working together to 'get vaxxed'.
"People call up, we book them in throughout the week and they come in.
"We have four people here [in the practice] giving shots then once people have been jabbed they go next door into the check-point where they wait for the required 15 minutes and book in for their second dose," he said.

Lithgow City councillor Joe Smith volunteered his morning at the check-point to assist in pushing the vaccinations through.
"The sooner we get jabbed the sooner we get freedom," he said.
"This is a great facility and it's great for the community who have worked hard along with Dr Haran to make this happen," he said.
Wallerawang Pubic School principal Jenny Lamborn was getting her vaccination and was impressed with the operation of the facility.
"I think it's great for the community of Wallerawang to actually have this initiative, obviously it supports the whole Lithgow LGA and actually allows people to be vaccinated in their own town and not have to travel," she said.
"There has been a mandate for teachers to be vaccinated so it [vaccination clinic] allows staff to have that accessibility in their local area."
"I think what is happening from Council, the community, Steve and Dr Haran is wonderful, they're supporting and working together as one as everybody always does in Wang, it's very reflective of our local community," she said.
Volunteers required
The community vaccine rollout is in need of more volunteers to assist the medical and administration personnel in some of the data and processing tasks.
If you have any spare time that you can offer, please leave your name and number at Dr Haran's practice to be contacted.
