The 52-year-old was located by SES volunteers in bushland near Woodford about 10.30am on September 10. She suffered minor injuries.
Officers from Blue Mountains Police District, PolAir, the Dog Unit, and the SES conducted an extensive search.

A search is underway for a woman missing in the Blue Mountains.
Catherine Van Gelderen, aged 52, was last seen about 4.10pm on Thursday, September 9, walking south on Terrace Falls Road, near Landseer Road in Hazelbrook.
It's believed she was heading out for a bushwalk. When she failed to return home in the evening the alarm was raised.
Officers from Blue Mountains Police District, Polair, the Dog Unit and SES volunteers have searched the area without success.

She is described as being Caucasian in appearance with a slim build, dark brown hair that was pulled up, and blue/white runners.
Catherine is an ex-teacher of La Salle Academy in Lithgow and known to students as Ms Flood (maiden name). She taught mathematics and religious studies. She moved closer to her home in the mountains in 2016 where she took up a role at Blue Mountains Grammar.
