Washing your car
With COVID restrictions it's been unclear on what you can and can't do and what's considered essential. A question that kept rising was if you can you wash your car at the car wash?
The Lithgow Mercury spoke to local police who advised you actually CAN take your vehicle down to the local car wash.
As long as you wear a mask, check in, social distance, wash your car and don't mingle - you'll be fine.
The car wash adjacent from ALDI and the Triple 8 car wash at the Coles servo are both operating for your car cleaning needs.

Recreational activity
While staying in the comfort of your own home is nice, it's important to step outside for a breath of fresh air and get that vitamin D.
Head for a walk up Hassans Walls, around Lake Pillans or around your block. Or if you're an angler why not throw a line in at Lake Lyell.
Home workouts are another great option to keep physically fit during these tough times. Reach out to your local gym or head to YouTube for workout videos.

You can also exercise with one other person outside of your household or everyone you live with can exercise in a group.
Exercise and outdoor recreation is a reasonable excuse to leave your home in the Lithgow area. This means you can sit down at a park bench for a coffee or sunbake as long as you are social distancing, wearing a mask and following gathering rules.
