There were two new COVID-19 cases recorded in Lithgow up to 8pm Tuesday night, October 19.
The cases are said to be household contacts of other related members who have COVID-19.
There are currently 14 active cases in the Lithgow area and 22 people have recovered.
COVID-19 vaccination rates across the Bathurst Electorate continue to soar as the NSW Government introduces greater freedoms for those who have had both doses.
Member for Bathurst Paul Toole has congratulated residents across the region for moving to protect their community by getting the jab.
He said that as of Monday the local government areas of Bathurst, Oberon, Blayney and Mid Western (including Kandos and Rylstone) had all passed the 80 per cent double dose mark.
"And we expect Lithgow to also pass that important 80 per cent rate any day now with 93.10 per cent of residents having their first jab and 79.60 per cent their second," Mr Toole said.
"I can confirm that Blayney residents are setting a great example for the community with 95 per cent having the first dose and 86.70 per cent the second dose.
"At Mid Western it's 95 per cent first jab and 82.10 per cent for their second jab while for the Bathurst LGA the statistics show that 93.10 per cent of residents have had their first dose of vaccine and 81.80 percent their second dose."
Mr Toole said the figures show that Oberon is also doing really well with 91.30 per cent of residents coming forward for their first COVID vaccination while 80.20 per cent now have had both shots and are fully vaccinated.
