"The girls improved each carnival and bonded as a team, this was shown in the last carnival at Orange where they came third overall," representative coordinator Donna Bennett said.
"At state Championships the girls did extremely well coming seventh overall and the games that they lost were all close games with a difference of no more than five points."
The under 17s went to a regional league in Bathurst which was held over three rounds.

"This team has had some injuries throughout the representative season and had to bring a player in at the last minute to allow them to continue through the representative season," she said.
"The girls had some strong competition at state championships but never gave up and showed some great skills throughout the weekend coming in 11th overall."
Bennett said that both teams represented Lithgow with great sportsmanship with positive attitudes towards the other teams and umpires.
"We would like to thank Leanne Kearney and Jospehine Smith for being our umpires for the weekend," Bennett said.
