Emergency services were called to the facility at Marrangaroo on the Great Western Highway at about 1.10pm on Tuesday, June 22, following reports of men being injured.
Staff initially responded to the fight in '4 Unit' at the centre. Gas was deployed safely to secure a group of inmates and three were identified with fight-related injuries.

Two men aged 40 and 34 experienced head injuries while a 35 year-old man experienced stab wounds.
Their injuries were serious but considered as non life-threatening. The inmates were treated at the scene before two were airlifted to Westmead Hospital.
NSW Police and Corrective Services NSW have commenced an investifation in relation to the incident.
