The announcement follows team selections made at the Open State Championships held over the June long weekend.
Lithgow has produced nine men and five women players to compete in the Country National Championships to be held in Cairns this August, 7 to 14.
Among the selections was Panthers premier league product Clare Bosman.
"It's always an exciting time when you're selected in a state team," she said.
This will mark Bosman's fourth year in the Country squad and she's looking forward to the challenge.
"I want to play at a high level and by being in this squad I'm being challenged and bettering my skill set on the hockey field," she said.
She said the Country championships were a good event and she was excited to get back into that playing environment.
"We'll take on other states' country teams and also an Australian Defence Force team," she said.
Bosman also congratulated a number of Lithgow and Central West players selected in squads.
"It's great to see the number of players from our region that were selected in the men's and women's team," she said.
She wanted to thank her parents Leanne and Paul for carting her around to hockey events although she was certain they enjoyed the holidays.
