On Thursday, my husband and myself visited Lithgow and went to a cafe/restaurant for lunch.
When I went to pay I exchanged a short pleasantry with the man in front, I found then that he told the teller that he was paying for me too. I overheard him and protested, he couldn't pay for me; I was waiting to pay for my husband and myself. He then paid for both our lunches!
I could not believe this kind and generous gesture towards two people he'd never met. He just said 'You can do it for someone else sometime' and I assured him I will! What a lovely thing to do; I will certainly take the first opportunity to pass on a kind gesture to someone else.
Yours faithfully, M.O.Ved: Real name Mavis Roberts
