Thousands flocked to the 2021 LithGlow event to see the Blast Furnace in all its glory.
Crowds enjoyed carnival food, live entertainment and EnergyAustralia fireworks over Lake Pillans to finish off the night.
Lithgow City mayor Cr Ray Thompson said it was nice to see everyone out and about post COVID-lockdown.

"2020 was an absolutely terrible year for Lithgow and the rest of Australia.
"It's just wonderful to see the smiles on children's faces and to see people out an about," he said.
He commended Council on organising the event and sponsors for their support.
"It was a job really well done and we're making LithGlow bigger and better each year," he said.
