The golf course is in great condition after the summer rains which is a credit to the Greens staff at Lithgow Golf Club.
Last week the ladies played the April monthly medals and the winner in first division was Lynne Ritchie with a 74 nett. Second Division was won by Fran LeFevre with a good score of 70 nett.
This week a Four Ball Best Ball versus Par for trophies donated by Judi Moore and Anne Doohan was the event of the week.
The score of Plus Five was popular with three pairs finishing on that score.
The eventual winners had to survive a three way countback and that was Janice Cohen and Carol Osborne with an excellent countback score of +7 from the in form Fran LeFevre and Narelle Potts followed by Jennifer Wild and Lynne Ritchie.

Nearest the pin on second hole was won by Janice Marshall and on the 18th was Jennifer Wild.
Last year due to covid restrictions the Mixed Foursomes Championships had to be cancelled. This year the Club is trialling playing the event through the week rather than on the weekend. A good field has entered and are looking forward to the event to be played next week.
