Police investigations continue after the driver of a white hatchback fled the scene after colliding with a parked vehicle on Sunday night, April 25.

The incident occurred at 11.05pm when the driver of the hatchback was travelling east on Main Street and passed the intersection of Hassans Walls Road.
Police allege the driver lost control and collided with a parked orange Ford Ranger before stopping and fleeing the scene.

Positive drug test
A 27 year-old Lithgow woman is facing charges after returning a positive drug test on Tuesday, April 27.
Police stopped the woman driving at 7.30pm after recognising the registration of her vehicle had expired and the number plates had been altered.
She was subject to a drug test which returned positive. She was arrested and taken back to Lithgow Police station for further enquiries.
The woman is to appear before Lithgow Local Court at a later date.
