After dominating C grade events since returning from a double knee joint surgery, Brian Giblett has now made his presence felt in B grade after returning the best nett score of the day in the Lithgow Golf Club's April Monthly Medals.

The medals are again sponsored by Henry's Plant Hire and Equipment and Giblett (off 18) got his game together to card a 66 nett to win the B grade medal and stroke event.
Runner up to Giblett was Robert (Darky) Millar (18) on 69 nett and the best scratch score went to Gary Keen (11) with 81.
In A grade, Ian Downey (7) again showed what a talent he is to win the medal and stroke event with a score of 69 nett.
Runner up was Dave Thompson (9) with a nett score of 70 nett and once again the scratch score went to Andrew Burton (scr) with 73.
The C grade medal will need a play off next month between the stroke winner Mitchell Wallace (22) and runner up Rob George (21) when both returned 70 netts.
Leo Murnane (20) had the best scratch score with a 96.Vouchers went to Rod Bright, Brian Bourke, Michael Stafford, Brad Preston, Graham Dean, Michael Saville, Don Wolfenden and Darren Hunter.
Nearest to the pins were John Bird, Brian Judge, Michael Saville, Paul Stewart and Max Nightingale.

The Wednesday, April 21 nine hole competition winner was Brian Quick on 21 points. Runner up was Carlos Garibotto with 19 points and in third spot was Geoff Dukes on 18 points on a countback.
