Now in its third year, the Westfund Community Grants Program has helped dozens of community organisations and events with funding and access to valuable defibrillator equipment.
"We're always proud of the ties we have with our members and the community of Lithgow," Westfund CEO Mark Genovese said.
"One of our underlying responsibilities is to give back to the many communities we serve, and our grants program is one of the ways we can provide this support."
Westfund's Community Grants Program gives eligible organisations the chance to apply for grants of up to $2500, or for a defibrillator unit.
The program is built on a foundation of three pillars: Family and Community, Health and Wellbeing and Fit for Life.
The grants program has already been of benefit to the Lithgow area, with local organisations already recipients of funding or a defibrillator.
