Emergency services were called after the young boy tripped on a log and sustained a head cut, after treatment on site he was flown to hospital for observation and was believed to be in a stable condition on arrival.

A man was also transported to Orange Hospital on Sunday afternoon after a single-vehicle accident in the Central West, he was believed to be in a stable condition but had reportedly suffered a head injury.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the single-vehicle accident, where a 20-year-old male's car had impacted a tree on Victorys Road, just south of Forbes at about 1.15pm on Sunday afternoon.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man on site with the assistance of the TOLL Ambulance Rescue Helicopter's critical care team, which was also tasked to the incident, however the man was transported to hospital via road.

The man's condition was unconfirmed as of 8am on Monday morning.
