The talented axeman took the title of the 375mm World Single Handed Sawing Championship at the Sydney Royal Easter Show on Friday, April 2.
"It's a huge win for me, one of the biggest wins ever," De Losa said.
He said the Sydney Show competition was the most prestigious on the World Circuit and he is no stranger to the Royal after winning the 375mm Standing Block World Championship back in 2009.
"It's something you strive for your whole career and I've been lucky enough to win here on two occasions," he said.
De Losa said the win put him in a great position heading into 2021 especially with Stihl Timbersports Australian Trophy up next on the calendar.
"It builds a lot of confidence for me as I head into my next big competition next month," he said.
De Losa said it was great to be back in competition following COVID-lockdown.
"I'm hoping we can continue with no interruptions throughout 2021," he said.
He also wanted to thank his family and friends for their continued support.
"And also the local community for all the congratulations messages," he said.
