The Lithgow Workmen's Football Club have been drawn in the third round of the Football Federation Australia (FFA) Cup to take on Kissing Point Football Club.
The club was drawn in after receiving a bye in the second round while Kissing Point defeated Winston Hills 5-2 at Valentine Sports Park, to be drawn against Lithgow.
Workmen's are no stranger to the FFA competition having played last year at Marjorie Jackson, narrowly going down 1-nil to Holyrod FC.
The 2020 FFA cup was cancelled soon after its first few rounds due to COVID 19.
The FFA Cup is a national knockout competition that includes teams from association and state level, National Premier Leagues, right through to the Hyundai A-League.
Workmen's Club president Mark Fordham says the club cherishes the opportunity to play in such a prestigious competition and is up for the challenge.
"It will be a tough preseason game, we normally have a lot more match fitness and experience from playing a full season for big game events like this but we are looking forward to the challenge of this game," he said.
It will be a tough preseason game, but we are looking forward to the challenge.

This year members from FFA will also film a documentary on the night about association teams and clubs that make up grassroots football.
They will be doing interviews and talking to player and supporters about the history and passion for the Lithgow Workmen's Club and football in Lithgow.
This will be presented soon after the preliminary rounds and called Grassroots to Glory. It will focus on what playing in these types of competitions means to players and supporters for each club that love the game.
Fordham encouraged young local players to come down and have the chance to show their talents in the national competition.
The Workmen's Club players also encourage spectators to come and show their support. Kick off is 6.30pm.
"This will be a big game for Lithgow," Fordham said,
Fordham also wanted to thank Lithgow Workmen's Football Club sponsors - the Lithgow Workies, Hunter Mining, Huesker, Jed's Tree Removals and new sponsors the Lithgow Valley Outdoor Specialists, the Blue Fox and Fast Fox restaurants.
