Denise was an extremely valuable member of the Lithgow Netball fraternity, and has been instrumental in the continued development of Lithgow Netball.
During her association with Lithgow Netball, Denise held almost every Committee position, including President, Umpire Co-Ordinator and Games Co-Ordinator.
Denise's more notable contributions were in the field of coaching, often coaching numerous local and representative teams in the one season over many seasons, rightly earning her the Super Coach nickname.
It was inevitable that both Denise's daughters Keira and Maicee have followed in her footsteps in netball circles, both being highly regarded players and officials.
The sidelines will be a lot quieter, but Denise's influence will remain strong in our Association.
Denise's knowledge, advice, support, mentoring, friendship and major contributions to netball in Lithgow will be greatly missed.
Lithgow Netball extends is sincerest sympathy to Jim, Keira, Maicee, Haymish, Ayden as well as her extended Wallerawang Netball Club family and friends.
As a mark of respect last Saturday, one minute silence was held before each game for players, officials and spectators to reflect on the amazing contribution Denise has made to Lithgow Netball.
